My Archive – The tip of an iceberg

27.09.2017

For the first time I have a website that features my archive. Despite shooting a high proportion of digital images since 2007, more than 4/5 of the archive is in negative form. The images currently posted to the archive section form just a tiny proportion of the material currently filling the shelves that line my office – very expensive wallpaper indeed. It’s my plan to add to the archive regularly over the next months and years. I have to thank the wonderful The Shoemakers Elves for their immaculate negative scans and the photography workshop at Kingston University for the use of their resources. It’s been a fascinating process reviewing the very wide range of films I’ve shot in every kind of format from 35mm to 10×8 sheet film. I’ll write some more on this topic in future posts.
